On a recent Sunday, as Ari rehearsed the bodhran with St. Columba’s choir, I took the gh5 and 25mm lens (this camera has an mft mount so that equates to a 50mm lens on a DLSR) and wandered the alarmingly narrow path between Sir Francis Drake and Tomales Bay.
While the overall purpose of the shoot was to get a better handle on how the lens handles sunlight, particularly while shooting into it, conditions couldn’t have been better across the board. I didn’t mess with these shots as much as I tend to, mostly to simulate particular film stocks and papers.
The desktop layout reflects my relative position when I took the shot with St. Columba’s up the hill.
St. Columba’s is the church where Ari and I are attending and I’ll be writing more about it in other features.
The mobile layout reflects the fact that I didn’t really lay this out for mobile very well. Sorry.
